Terms of Service

Last updated: October 25, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SAN Data Systems (“we”, “us”) for your use of IRLStream. By creating an account or using IRLStream, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

IRLStream helps you stream live video: it relays your stream to the platforms you choose, manages streaming boxes and scenes, and can bring the live chat from your connected platforms into one place where you can read, reply and moderate. Some features are in beta and may change or be removed.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
  • Keep your login, stream keys and connected accounts secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Give us accurate information and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the rules of any platform you stream or chat on through IRLStream. You remain responsible for following each platform’s terms and community guidelines.
  • Stream, post or store content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or exploits or endangers anyone.
  • Abuse the chat or moderation tools, for example to harass people, mass-ban or spam, or to evade a platform’s enforcement.
  • Interfere with the service, try to access other users’ data, or use it to attack other systems.

We may remove content or limit features to protect users, platforms or the service.

Third-party platforms

When you connect Twitch, YouTube, Kick or another platform, you authorize IRLStream to act on that platform as you, within the permissions you approved (for example reading chat, posting replies and moderating). Those platforms are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services, and features may stop working if a platform changes its rules or API. You can disconnect at any time. YouTube users also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

AI moderation

The AI moderator is an assistive tool. It can make mistakes: it may miss harmful messages or flag harmless ones. You decide which actions it may take, and you remain responsible for moderation on your channel. Bans always require a person to confirm. See the Privacy Policy for how chat data is handled.

Your content

You keep ownership of your streams and content. You give us permission to process, transmit and store it only as needed to provide the service to you.

Availability and no warranty

We work to keep IRLStream reliable, but live streaming depends on networks, devices and platforms outside our control. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that a stream will never drop.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SAN Data Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost revenue, audience or data, arising from your use of IRLStream. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if greater.

Ending your use

You can stop using IRLStream and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Data deletion). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or others at risk, with notice where reasonable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use IRLStream after a change means you accept the updated terms.
